I’m AJ, I’m 10 years old and go to a school on the Northern Beaches, Sydney, Australia.

The beauty of living in my area is that I can go surfing almost every day! I love surfing, football (soccer), handball and bushwalking but I also noticed the rubbish everywhere we go or swim… Gross!

In Year 4, I did an assignment on plastic pollution in the Great Barrier Reef. Talking with my parents made me realize how serious the consequences of littering are. So, my mum and I created a short, stop-motion film called “Don’t Be Mean – Find a Bin!” to show my classmates the impact of plastic pollution. We’ve made more films to raise awareness among kids about environmental and social issues.

That’s why we created this website—to inform you about the effects of plastic pollution on our planet and how kids can help protect it with small steps.

I’m JD, I’m 7 years old and I love surfing with my dad and my brother. I also enjoy coming up with new inventions. Once, I created a massive jumbo jet out of cardboard boxes, and another time I made a pulley system to lift my teddy bears all the way up to my bunk bed.

Together with AJ and my mum, I work on the production set for videos and love sharing the results of our work with my classmates.

Bob is the founder of KIDZ who CARE are AWARE. He enjoys playing the piano, guitar, surfing, and bushwalking.

Bob feels a strong sense of responsibility for education and raising awareness about various issues, so he often takes it upon himself to explain these topics during the movies.

Red is the mastermind behind many different and crazy ideas thatKIDZ who CARE are AWARE uses when trying to escape from various adventures.

He likes surfing and anything to do with water. He also enjoys saving others from trouble!

Max is the most chilled out member of the KIDZ who CARE are AWARE team. He’s definitely creative and sometimes surprises everyone with his comments and suggestions. But don’t be deceived by appearances! Under this relaxed exterior, there is a loyal and dedicated friend.

Oni is the busiest of the KKIDZ who CARE are AWARE, often disappearing on secret missions and classified projects, although it must be mentioned that she’s not really good at reading currents!

Occasionally, she appears in the episodes to save the KIDZ who CARE are AWARE team or to be saved by them!
