AJ - FOUNDER & MAIN DISRUPTOR
I’m 11 yo and go to a school on the Northern Beaches, Sydney, Australia. The beauty of living in my area is that I can go surfing almost every day!
I love surfing, football (soccer), handball and bushwalking but I also noticed the rubbish everywhere we go or swim… Gross!
In Year 4, I did an assignment on plastic pollution in the Great Barrier Reef. So, my mum and I created a short, stop-motion film called “Don’t Be Mean – Find a Bin!” to show my classmates the impact of plastic pollution. We’ve made more films to raise awareness among kids about environmental and social issues.
That’s why we created this website. To raise awareness of the issues around us, and how, with the small acts of kindness and care we can make a change.

BOB - KIDZ EXPLORER
“I CARE about Nature, I’m AWARE of Rubbish & Littering."
Bob is the founder of KIDZ who CARE are AWARE. His passions include nature, bush walks, surfing, and the wellbeing of those around him.
Bob loves teaching others and showing them the beauty of the world. But he also explains how easy it is to destroy this delicate balance through selfish actions.
JD - CHIEF of CURIOSITY & INNOVATION
I’m JD, I’m 8 years old and I love surfing with my dad and my brother. I also enjoy coming up with new inventions. Once, I created a massive jumbo jet out of cardboard boxes, and another time I made a pulley system to lift my teddy bears all the way up to my bunk bed.
Together with AJ and my mum, I work on the production set for videos and love sharing the results of our work with my classmates.

I’m AWARE of Pollution and abandoned fishing nets."
Red’s interest in animals and all things water-related has been obvious from the beginning.
He simply loves playing in the water and admiring marine life. That’s why it hurts him to see the devastating effects of plastic pollution and seismic blasting on ocean creatures.
MK - ART DIRECTOR
I’m MK, I’m the one who spends most days stitching animations together and nudging designs “just a tiny bit” until they feel right. I love experimenting, breaking things, fixing them again, and occasionally discovering a better idea by accident.
When I’m not tinkering with motion and visuals, I’m probably rearranging pixels, overthinking type, or getting way too excited when everything finally clicks

ONI - KIDZ RESTORER
"I CARE about Belonging
I’m AWARE of Bullying and Exclusion."
Oni loves taking care of other KIDZ and her friends. She wants all kids to get along and feel included. She admits that sometimes it’s hard to like everyone, but we should always respect others and help them feel like part of the team.
That’s why she stands against bullying and makes sure no one on the playground feels left out of the fun.
DD - ASSISTANT 1
I’m DD, the person behind the voiceovers, the gear, and the emergency coffee runs that keep the Supreme Art Director moving. I wrangle equipment, jump in wherever I’m needed (or not), and handle all the unexpected things that pop up (which is… often).
Whether it’s a mic that won’t behave or a last-minute problem no one saw coming, I’m usually nearby—coffee in hand—making sure the show goes on (and that I do too).

MAX - KIDZ HEARTSEER

Max is passionate about kindness and respect. He believes we should treat others the way we want to be treated (and Max definitely likes being treated nicely!).
It doesn’t matter what your age, appearance, or shoe size is — we should all be kind to one another!
